Grenade Special Shape Hot Air Balloon With Reflecting Of The Pond At Tanks A Lot For First Activations

A Grenade!?

As balloons go there have been some odd shapes that have been made. Throughout the years the world of special shapes have slowed down, that was until we were contacted by Grenade.

Bloon was chosen by Grenade to design, build and operate a balloon that is out the ordinary and will have heads turning where ever it is tethered or flown. The Grenade balloon is the first of its shape with a size of 105,000 cubit feet made of Kubiceks new light weight polyester. Because of all its complex air pockets and design the balloon should be very heavy, with the use of light weight polyester we have been able to achieve a light weight shape of its size with the same strength and durability as normal polyester.

The first activation of the balloon took place in the ever so fitting Tanks A Lot, giving a great first reveal to the CEO Alan Barratt and his team. We used our in house team to tether the balloon in monitored weather conditions and worked with Grenades content team to create a spectacular reveal video.

Here at Bloon are always pushing the bar higher and going above and beyond. We work with our clients to make a vision a reality, and prove nothing is impossible!

    1. Hi Bekki,

Great to see you spotted the balloon when we did our Stoke On Trent flight! If you had any pictures remember to #Greande and #Yougotthis to win products from Grenade. King Regards, Haydon.

  1. Hi
Saw your Grenade balloon landing in my village of Sywell this evening from a distance in fading light. Would have liked better views and photos but did not know you were flying.
Are you planning to launch again nearby in near future please. Thank you and regards, Jim D.

    1. Hi Jim,

Great to hear you saw the balloon on our travels. We contact newspapers and local social media sites to get as much publicity as possible before hand. Due too the current Covid restrictions we are not sharing take off and landing locations to stop any mass gatherings. Sorry to hear you did not manage to get a good view and pictures, we will be sure to come over Northampton in the future. Kinds Regards, Haydon
