Bloon were delighted to be in attendance at the first-ever Oswestry Hot Air Balloon Festival. The hot air balloon event took place over the August Bank Holiday weekend at the famous British Ironworks Centre. The event drew huge crowds to the 3-day event in aid of local charity.
We had our unbranded 6 passengers hot air balloon there and flew all 6 possible flights including one on a Friday evening for the waiting press. Adding to the fantastic Night Glow held on Sunday Night, where the balloons are inflated as darkness falls and then fire their burners in time with the playing music, finishing off with a fantastic fireworks display.
Every launch was well attended, with people even arriving for the 6 am mass take off’s.
