Bloon recently designed, produced and installed a large Latex Balloon Replica for the promotion of the new Severance Series for Apple TV. The 5m Inflatable Balloon Replica is of the Helium Latex Balloons used throughout the show. Featuring a large scale print of the lead actor Adam Scott.
The large 5m Inflatable Balloon Replica was designed and produced to be self supporting using a central pole fitted to the base. This gave the image that the balloon was slightly floating off the ground without the need for helium. This worked perfectly as a solution to ensure the inflatable did not move, to get the all important promotional filming.
Along with the large 5m Inflatable, Bloon also supported to production and installation of the wooden base from our trusted partner Unit 1 Scenery. The 7x4m wooden base was produced using minimal tolerance on CNC cutting machines. After fitting together to wooden base was fitted with a white cladding to give it a streamline polished finish.
Adding to the promotion, Bloon produced 800 12″ Inflatable Latex Balloons which were helium filled and given to actors to walk around Central London. These featured prints of all the main actors from the series. At the end of the promotional video these were given out to members of the public.
Overall the promotion was great success. With hundred of people attending the pop up promotional along London’s iconic location. Guests appearances from the actors gave further excitement to the upcoming series. The promotional video gained over 5 million views on Instagram alone!
